There’s some kind of near-future cynical hypercapitalist vibe running here.  I’m not gonna say I get what sounds like some mix of atheist motivational speaking and what’s plainly samples from Monty Python’s Flying Circus and One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest.  This isn’t a comment.  This is a vibe.  And I can kind of feel it all around me in the streets of Night City.  Like a lot of things, we don’t need an overarching meaning here.  It’s a vibe I’m rebelling against as the audio opens up with, “We now take control of your life.”  Hell with your ultramonetary success.  Come say it to my face.

Pure [Remixes] - GTO (2023, Tronic) is probably among the top tier, essential tracks of electronic dance, techno, house, whatever you term you use. It doesn’t matter, because the original track was released at a time when all of these superficial terms were not used to filter music. It was a charting track in the UK and possibly on the dance charts in the US, and a breakthrough track for the English duo, consisting of Michael Wells and Lee Newman (who passed away in 1995).

Christian Smith of Tronic Treatment lends his spark in bringing the [Second] Summer Of Love track into the current era with his signature slick production as a remixer, but keeping things rough enough for any warehouse event, as this track was originally meant for the warehouses of 1989.

Timmy's certainly felt like decking him once or twice!! But he'd never do it. Timmy knows better than anyone how terrible it feels when you're punished or reprimanded for just.. being yourself. Irep's just a kid, doing what anti-fairy kids do!

But also, Irep went through one hell of a growth spurt at school, and now he's twice Timmy's size. So, Timmy's options are pretty limited now. At best, he could use Anti-Cosmo as a measure to get Irep to listen to him, but it's becoming less effective the older they get.

Something about Vegapunk using the dna and blood of a caged and experimented on child to create more caged child experiments and the cycles we perpetuate.

It’s interesting that Vegapunk joined the government so that he could do the most good, but look at the long line of people right infront of him that he’s hurt with his own hands.

Watching Jenny Nicholson's Star Wars hotel video I went back to watch her Evermore video again ( I first watched it when it came out and my geek event coordinator buddies shared it), having now been through the park myself in the full light of day. Then I decided to see what her other videos had. I skipped most since I had no frame of reference for or interest in the subjects but I did watch the Star Wars related ones, including the Rogue One video.

"Loving something unconditionally doesn't mean you love it more, it just means you love it sadder" is a hell of a banger to just drop as a counterpoint to gatekeeping, naysayer fake geek boys.
